KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operational
- Collaborate with Senior Leaders to determine recruitment needs and devise best practice operational strategy
- Ensure data driven decision and strategies are discussed and implemented.
- Manage end to end recruitment activity.
- Seek innovative ways to attract and source candidates directly
- Make use of market mapping to build out talent pipelines to reduce dependency on just in time hiring (proactive sourcing).
- Build strong relationships with key internal clients and external stakeholders.
- Use all talent technology to its advantage ensuring all data is entered correctly and there is a focus on always maintaining data integrity. Data will be audited, and you will be expected to correct any issues straight away.
- Collaborate with Marketing to drive brand awareness and EVP in market.
- Collaborate with wider P&C team on talent matters.
- Maximise DEI opportunity through recruitment.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience
- Assist with employee on-boarding processes for new hire such as background checks, contracts and letters of offers, ensuring a smooth transition.
Project
- Deliver on high profile recruitment projects.
- Focus on process improvement and best use of systems to drive best practice.
- Use data to understand opportunities to improve the recruitment experience and effectiveness.
- Undertake project work as assigned by Senior Manager Shared Services.
DEMONSTRATED EXPERIENCE & ATTRIBUTES:
Essential
- Prior in-house recruitment experience, ideally 2-3 years
- Strong knowledge and experience with Talent technology
- Commercial attitude with the ability to influence stakeholders & be resilient in the face of challenge.
- Problem solving and the ability to adapt to change
Desirable
- Talent pipeline development (networking, referrals, headhunting)
- Proficiency with technology and relevant talent applications
- Tertiary studies in Business, HR or Technology
- Current or prior membership of RCSA (National Recruitment Body)
- Experience with WorkDay
- Professional Services Experience
